Abstract
The major purpose of this study is to survey the positive thinking training on students' progress in the lesson of religion and life and also the life of high school female students of Ghorveh. This study is an applied research in the terms of its purpose and considered as a descriptive survey study in the terms of method and also from the correlation cluster. The main data collection tool in the study is questionnaire. In this regard, the positive thinking questionnaire of Alipoor and Noorbala (2000) was used. The dimensions and conceptions of this questionnaire are unknown but since its content is similar to the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, we can cautiously use the conceptions of Oxford happiness questionnaire. The statistic society of the study is the high school female students of Ghorveh. For sample size selection Cochran formula was used. 85 persons were randomly chosen as the statistic society in this study that the sample size reduced to 69 with error calculation. The results of the study indicate that there is a meaningful (significant) relationship between the positive thinking training on the students' progress in the lesson of religion and life.
