The aim of the present research was to ascertain the effects of drawing therapy on aggression and stress in preschool children of Rasht. The research method is experimental with a scheme of pretest-posttest and the control group. The statistical population included all the Rasht's preschool children in 2013 where as many as 30 people were selected by cluster sampling and were randomly placed in two experimental and control groups. For measurement, first, the preschool children aggression questionnaire and the Children stress Symptoms scale (CSS) were applied. Then, the drawing therapy was administered for 8 sessions only on the experimental group. After the administration of the independent variable, posttest was conducted on two experimental and control groups. To analyze the data the Mancova method with SPSS software was applied. Findings revealed that difference of scores in the experimental group in the posttest stage is significant in comparison with the control group in reducing children stress and aggression. Results of the research indicated that drawing therapy is effective with %95 confidence on reducing aggression and stress in children.
