Efficacy of logo therapy in reduction of students' aggression

Abstract
The current research aimed to investigate the efficacy of logo therapy in reducing aggression among students. The research population consisted of all students in the city of Karaj who were studying in the academic year, 2014-2015. In this research, the number of 24 students was selected via convenient random sampling as the sample size. The method applied in the research is semi-experimental with two control and experimental groups. The experimental group was placed under 10 ninety minute logo therapy sessions. To collect data, Buss and Perry's 29-question Aggression Questionnaire was used. To analyze data, descriptive statistics (average, standard deviation, etc.) and inferential statistics (covariance analysis) were used. Findings revealed that the average aggression scores in the posttest of the experimental group were lower than that in the control group. It is thus concluded that logo therapy is effective in reducing students' aggression.
