Comparison of the Behavioral Inhabitation-Activation System in Blind and Ordinary People

The behavioral inhabitation-activation system is considered as the factor that paves the ground for individual preparation in front of behavioral and emotional problems and as the most important skill that shows adaptability of individuals. This issue has been considered by many authors and researchers during recent years. The purpose of this study is to compare the behavioral inhabitation-activation systems in blind and normal people. For this purpose, a descriptive-comparative and cross-sectional research form was used. A sample of 80 individuals (40 normal individuals and 40 blinds) was selected randomly. The reliability and validity of the data-collection instrument was investigated and confirmed. In order to analyze the research data and test the hypothesis, SPSS was employed. The findings revealed that there is a significant difference between scores of normal and blind respondents in terms of behavioral inhabitation-activation system (p≤0.001). Based on the findings of this study, it can be said that the behavioral inhabitation-activation system of blinds have more sensitivity than other respondents.
